Lisa Messinger Coaching Website
The project, which was completed as a freelancer, was to build a website for Lisa Messinger’s coaching practice so that she could showcase her services to prospective clients, provide information about her practice, and to generate new coaching leads.
The outcome of the project was a modern but friendly and approachable website that showcases Lisa’s coaching abilities.
The Design Process
Research and Development
To inform my design process, I surveyed dozens of personal coaching websites to understand how they are presented. My main takeaways from successful websites were:
There are a wide variety of styles when it comes to coaching websites. Many appear to be gendered if the client base is heavily one gender. I tried to avoid having the website be heavily gendered in either direction so as to appeal to the widest possible base of clients.
Most websites had a splash page, as well as biography pages, services pages, and contact pages.
The best websites were clean and did not distract from the main focus, which displaying the services offered and how to get in touch with the coach
Design and Iteration
The website was built in framer so that it would be easy to build and maintain if we wanted to keep expanding it in the future.
I focused on offering a wide variety of color palettes and typography choices to see what Lisa thought best represented her coaching style.

Lisa’s website came together through a collaborative process, as we worked closely together on both the layout and content for the website. I also touched up some of her provided images and found relevant stock images for the website.
Lisa was thrilled about her website and has been utilizing it to continue to expand her coaching practice. It has been instrumental in helping her showcase her coaching practice to potential mentees before they make a coaching commitment. Please check out the full website below:
